Tonic to calm nerves:

  • 1oz (25gm) hops
  • 1oz (25gm) lavender flower
  • 1oz (25gm) palm leaves
  • 1oz (25gm) primrose

Instructions:
Add 1 teaspoonful of the mixture to 1/2 cup of boiling water. Take twice daily without sugar.

Herbal remedy for headaches and sickness:

  • 1oz (25gm) betony
  • 1oz (25gm) rosemary
  • 1oz (25gm) sage
  • 1oz (25gm) peppermint
  • 1oz (25gm) marjoram

Instructions:
Mix these ingredients and boil for 30 minutes in 2 litres of water. Remove from heat and leave to stand until cool and clear. Take one cup three times daily.
